ADVANCED (LEAPFROG) "REMEMBERING"-TECHNOLOGY (aka technology that sustains broken hearts and contrite spirits---among a people--- that, above all things, LOVE GOD with all of their might, mind and strength).
"For many moderns, sad to say, the query 'What think ye of Christ?' (Matthew 22:42) would be answered, 'I really don't think of Him at all!'" (in Conference Report, Oct. 1995, 27; or Ensign, Nov. 1995, 22-23).
SAD NEWS. Throughout all human history, every group of people on the earth (in every gospel dispensation) who once had a collective "love of God and of all men" have lost their way. They fell into apostasy. The reason: they did not diligently (and at all costs!) build and maintain and continually use the Advanced (Leapfrog) Memory Technology (the special WAYS) that God gave them to "remember how merciful [Jesus] has been to them from the creation of Adam, down through time...all the way throughout their life, from the time they were children up to the present moment." They lost their brass serpent. They lost their plates. They lost their minds. That is, they lost their "Jesus-centric minds."
GOOD NEWS. God has once again poured down memory tools (scriptures, books, computers, memory temple) to help his people remember their God (and thereby LOVE THEIR GOD). And this time, according to prophesy, in this time we live, called the "Last Dispensation of The Fullness of Times", there will be a small group of people which Isaiah refers to as a "remnant", meaning---"What is left of a community after it undergoes a catastrophe", who will retain a bright recollection (bright recollection that God is good, God is kind, God is merciful). In short, they will retain faith in Christ, hope in Christ and charity in Christ.
And the reason THEY WILL RETAIN A BRIGHT RECOLLECTION is because they will carefully/actively build and maintain the recollection (memory) tools that God gives to them. Like Nephi did with the plates that Jesus had him carefully/actively build and maintain (and pass down).
Ultimately, the remnant will build the biggest Jesus-memory device (ever!) in history. It will be an entire city---chock-full of "WAYS"/tools that self-reinforce memory of how merciful and trustworthy is their God. The memory device will actually be a well-planned, well orchestrated "City" called Zion. It will also be a temple. A memory temple. It will be a Jesus-Life Temple (a city-temple that continually reminds/self-reinforces Jesus), where they will continually talk of Christ, preach of Christ, prophesy of Christ, write according to their prophecies to remind their children and their grand children to remember Jesus is all things (at work, a play, in song, in food, in everything...everything). It will be the return of a Jesus-centric culture.
EARLY ZION. There is a promise land (the "Kingdom of God") existing inside of each one of us. It is meant to be a place of sanctuary. Unfortunately it has been overrun by Babylonian influences. It needs to be rebuilt. It is time we do a buildout of the "hidden kingdom" within us...that it may become manifest outside of us (and give light to all those around us). The key to entering the hidden kingdom of Jesus is LOVE. A particular kind of love...the love of God. Simply put, LOVE Jesus.
LOVE JESUS. First Command: Believing in Jesus is easy, even the devils believe in Jesus (James 12:19). What is hard, but crucial for Zion is LOVING JESUS. Really, literally loving Jesus. Deep, passionate, abiding love (true friendship with Jesus love!) is the... main main main main main main main main main main main main main main... goal and EMPHASIS for those called to build early Zion. "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul. This is the first and great commandment." (The first commandment enables the 2nd commandment, it can even enable you to love your enemies!).
Zion builders will be not only (fans) of Jesus, but so deeply enthusiastic about Jesus that they will BORDER ON BEING (and be accused by Babylonians of being) "Jesus Fanatics", "Jesus Freaks", and other derogatory terms suggesting they are going toooooo far in their love of Jesus (You're going the wrong way!!...they will say) and (You're doing it the wrong way!!...they will say).
IN THE OPEN. When I #HearHim, a still small voice, who calls himself Lord Jesus, does say to me, "Greg, we are building Zion, in the open, without shame and with joy, and we shall invite every soul and every organization on earth to do the same, to 'come out' (out of Babylon) and forthrightly build my Zion, my Kingdom on earth, for all the world to see."
We are now building Zion in the open, like Noah built the Ark in the open, as TESTAMENT TESTAMENT TESTAMENT to ourselves and the world (our families, neighbors and community) that "The Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord" is now upon us, that Babylon The Great is falling, and it is now time to seek REFUGE REFUGE REFUGE in a new kingdom on the earth---the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. A place (and a people) called Zion. Literally "Zion". It is "early Zion".
